HOCKEY IN MOTION
"Hockey in Motion is an extension of Zakea Page's acclaimed project 'Ink and Gold: An Artist's Journey to Olympic Glory". The Oscar-qualifying documentary short film follows Zakea's journey to winning the medal design competition for the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games and performing at the Opening Ceremony.
In this exhibition, Zakea aims to show the connection between art and sport and the synergies between the two disciplines. This intersection becomes a powerful force that fosters unity between individuals from different cultures and backgrounds, overcoming language barriers and creating connections, mutual understanding and respect.
Using a field hockey stick and ball, Zakea paints in virtual reality, using the movements of hockey to create digital sculptures. The exhibition pays homage to the Paris 2024 Games by incorporating the official colours and slogans of Paris 2024, as well as references to Parisian architecture and French sculpture.
Pierre de Coubertin, known as the father of the modern Olympic Games, conceived the Games as a union between sport and art. The exhibition aims to reflect this essence of the Games, celebrating both athleticism and artistic expression”.

Eiffel Tower
This artwort pays tribute to the strength and resilience of the French people and their cultural heritage. It celebrates the legacy of the Eiffel Tower within the cultural and artistic fabric of Paris and honours the city's uncompromising pursuit of excellence in the arts. This pursuit mirrors the Olympic Movement's commitment to excellence, which is reflected in the Paris 2024 podiums and medals.
The Olympic podiums are inspired by the geometric shapes of the Eiffel Tower, while the medals incorporate metal from the Tower that was preserved during its modernisation in the mid-20th century. The Eiffel Tower stands as a beacon of inspiration and a powerful testament to human achievement.
Statue Of Liberty
This artwork celebrates the shared values of freedom, international cooperation and the pursuit of excellence embodied by both the Statue of Liberty and the Olympic Movement. Both symbols promote unity through diversity and cultural exchange, inspiring individuals to overcome challenges and strive for greatness. They stand as beacons of hope and aspiration, championing human rights and social progress. Sport is a powerful tool for achieving these ideals, uniting people around the world and transcending cultural boundaries through its universal language of competition and achievement.
